Second Annual Arlington Highlands Hometown Holiday in the Park
Arlington, Texas (November, 2008) - The Retail Connection, LLC, Connected Development, LLC and Cheney & Mathes, LLC announces the second annual Arlington Highlands Hometown Holiday in the Park with Tree Lighting Ceremony, on Saturday, November 29th. The celebration begins at 10am with complimentary Pictures with Santa in Curtis Mathes Park, a 5:30pm performance by UTA Jazz Group and a 6:30pm tree Lighting ceremony presented by Honorable Mayor, Dr. Robert Cluck.
Following the conclusion of the tree lighting, there will be complimentary wagon rides through out the Arlington Highlands shopping center for families to enjoy Arlington Highlands' lights.
The Arlington Highlands Tree Lighting ceremony officially commences the Holiday Season at Arlington Highlands. This year Arlington Highlands will be hosting holiday events every Saturday beginning Saturday, November 29th and concludes Saturday, December 20th, event will include pictures with Santa, performances from local Arlington musical groups and wagon rides. Saturday, December 6, 13 and 20 pictures with Santa will be $10 for a 4x6 photograph and holiday wagon rides will be $8, children under 3 are free.
In the season of giving Arlington Highlands has partnered with the Tarrant Area Food Bank and will be collecting canned chili and soup on Saturday, November 29th.
